After more than 30 years in our beloved Edinburgh warehouse at 21 St Leonard’s Lane, The Nomads Tent is embarking on an exciting new chapter as we prepare to move to a brand-new location in Edinburgh.
Since 1983, The Nomads Tent has been a treasure trove of handpicked rugs, furniture, artefacts, pottery, jewellery, textiles, and architectural features from across Persia, India, Afghanistan, Turkey, and beyond. Our commitment to fair and ethical trading remains at the heart of what we do, ensuring that every piece we offer tells a story of artistry, culture, and craftsmanship.
While we have cherished our time nestled beneath Salisbury Crags, we are thrilled to announce our move to a new home at nearby 2 Warrender Park Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1JQ from Wednesday 18th June.
Meanwhile, it’s business as usual at our St Leonard’s Lane warehouse, and we invite our friends, customers, and the Edinburgh community to visit us before the move. From May 10th to 24th there will be a one-off ‘Everything Must Go’ moving sale and more details on our official opening at the new premises will be shared soon.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new home in June and continuing to share the rich stories and traditions of the extraordinary cultures that inspire The Nomads Tent.
