This was four years after Reza Shah fatally courted the West with his country’s 2500\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e birthday party, and nearly four years before the Iranian people chased him out of the country. Was Ali Naz unconsciously reflecting the divided spirit of his country?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"\u003eThe design is known as a Firengi Gul pattern, referring to the central field motifs.
