An oppurtunity to look behind the scenes in the vast stores of the National Museum Collection Centre. We will study a selection of Ottoman Turkish ceramics, textiles and metalwork items from NMS’s reserve collection. friderike will show and talk about Ottoman treasures including Iznik ceramics and a rare 17th century ‘Lotto’ carpet, so-called after a renaissance painter Lorenzo Lotto.
